Dr. Marta Angela Calatayud Pinuaga

Over 20 years of experience having practiced in private and public healthcare sectors across Barcelona. Dr Marta has made Quironsalud Dubai her home, in 2017, to perform surgeries for the most complex Cornea conditions of Cataract and Keratoconus. Her clinical target is to improve vision up to the maximum level possible at Quironsalud Dubai.
She has published articles periodically in international journals, several book chapters and continues her editorial activity; with the latest publication of an e-book dedicated to Corneal Surgery with Intraoperative OCT. Dr Marta also collaborated with charities traveling to Ethiopia to perform cataract and ocular surface surgeries for several years with the NGO Proyecto Visión. She is a member of the Royal National Academy of Medicine of Spain, as well as the Royal Academy of Medicine of Aragon.
Dr Marta continues her Academic development, in Cornea treatment, with scientific presentations at national and international European and American conferences. Since 2012 she started her own surgical video channel to share her techniques and knowledge in surgical interventions with other colleagues.
